Welcome to something different
We had a dream of bringing together our ideas on all things Green, Eco, Organic and Fair-Trade under one roof. We also wanted to create a happy, relaxed and fun place. It all came together on a sunny day in Lyme Regis last November when we opened our first shop.
Our buying policy is very simple. If we like it, and it fits our strict Eco criteria then we will stock it. We have things in the shop that secretly we are hoping don't get sold. We will then buy them ourselves and take them home!!

The shop is a bit of a Curate's egg in that it doesn't fit easily into any specific category of shop. You could call it a gift shop, but we stock household cleaning products and clothes. You could call it a health shop with our skin-care ranges and natural products, but we stock furniture and toys. You could call us a retail outlet but we have a notice-board full of information about local initiatives and Green groups in and around Lyme Regis. The best way we have heard us described is a “Hub” of Eco and Green products, services and information.
Our Ethos is to stock products which are as organic and planet-friendly as possible. Where possible we source from local/European suppliers, working with companies which take a high moral stance on the Eco issues we all face. Where possible we avoid air-freight. We use companies who have the highest possible certification including Ecocert, the Soil Association, BDIH, Vegan. This way you can have confidence that we have done the research for you. We still welcome you looking at the labels and testing our credentials!
The relaxed, informal atmosphere and the wide range of products and information attract an equally wide range of customers and visitors. People come in to browse, share their views and give us ideas on products which they think would fit with our ethos. We think we have created something quite unique, and based on our first 6 months of trading, our customers like what we have started. We had a customer who thought E-cloths would fit in with our range of products and ethos. We now have them in the shop, and she was right, they fit perfectly and people are buying them.
Of course, we are learning all of the time, and are listening to our customers. Why not come along and take a look. We are interested in your views of what we are doing, and where you see any gaps in our product range.
